Presentation: This address highlights the vital importance of songs and ceremonies in traditional communities of the Golden Triangle through photos, recordings and film.
Photo Exhibit: Themed collections of images of traditional tribal culture from the hills of Laos, Myanmar/Burma, China and Thailand.
Museum Exhibition: Songs of Memory, Traditional Music of the Golden Triangle is a multi-media exhibition showcasing the musical heritage of the six major indigenous groups of the Golden Triangle – the Hmong, Mien, Lahu, Akha, Lisu, and Karen – through collections of musical instruments, clothing, photographs and documentary films.
